Two ways to do this that I know of, the first is a trick from Lesigner Girls purse:

In your CSS add:

[sign in to see URL], [sign in to see URL]{ display: none; }

The other way is a little devious coming at you from Pastor Ricks CSS Bible:

In your CSS add:

[sign in to see URL], [sign in to see URL]{font: bold italic small-caps 1em/[sign in to see URL] verdana, sans-serif; font-color: #000000 ;}

The first way makes the text totally invisible. The second way allows you to "color" the text to match your message board (change font-color to your message boards color) so you can see why and who did the editing just by "highlighting" the text like you were going to copy it.

greetings pastor rick,

question, so I can apply both of these as one and still be able to see who edited what in a post?? without the board member seeing that they edited? or am I confusing the question? emoticon

Greetings BigB,

The two methods shown are mutually exclusive to each other so you can only use one without messing things up. I am thinking about another method where only those with moderator access or higher could see the edit or even know a edit was made. I just made a post that might be better suited for what you want ]here .
