The posting icons
Like the ones that I can see above here. Can someone please tell me how to get them looking like that. Mine are not very nice and I like the ones above. So what can I do to get mine like that. I mean they dont have to be exact, but I would like to be able to click the word to start the bold and then to end it, instead of them being there together and having to write in between them.
Hope you guys know what I mean.
Im posting this here and not on the support board. Im also not sure where to post this so feel free to move it.

Re: The posting icons
Hi Erika,
Except for spreading out the Post-icon table that part of this board is the default RunBoard design. What I see on your board looks like the Single Row Post Button Design (v2) that was designed by SmackDown5 and The Mooseman.
To change it back to the Default RunBoard design the first thing you have to do is goto:
Control Panel :: Board management :: Edit colors and theme :: CSS management - And delete the line that reads:
.hideme {display:none; position: absolute; visibility:hidden}
Then you goto:
Control Panel :: Board management :: Customize the language set - And change it so it reads like the following:
msgform_insert_link Insert link
msgform_insert_image Insert image
msgform_start_quote Start quote
msgform_end_quote End quote
msgform_start_bold B
msgform_end_bold /B
msgform_start_italic I
msgform_end_italic /I
msgform_start_underline U
msgform_end_underline /U
msgform_start_center Center
msgform_end_center /Center
msgform_start_code Code
msgform_end_code /Code
msgform_start_scroll Scroll
msgform_end_scroll /Scroll
msgform_color COLOR
msgform_start_big BIG
msgform_end_big /BIG
msgform_start_small small
msgform_end_small /small

Re: The posting icons
Thanks for that. I did it not all the words were on the buttons. See below.
How can I get it so the whole word is there like yours above as I write this, and clear too.?

Re: The posting icons
Hi Erika,
I am not sure what you mean when you said "and clear to." The button style for text formating is controlled by the following CSS class element found here:
Control Panel :: Board management :: Edit colors and theme :: CSS management
.qcode_bar_but {font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px ; height: 25px; width: 35px; margin-top: 10px;}
Currently you have the buttons restricted to a width of 35px which is good for words somewhere between 4 and 5 letters. Now you could make the display "auto-adjust" the buttons width by removing the width: 35px; statement (and that is far and away the easiest way to do it) or, if you want the buttons to all be the same size you can change the current width statement to something like width: 90px;.

Re: The posting icons
I thought yours looked quite clear and of cours its because of the colour of the forum. (Which is great by the way)
Ok I tried the following
I put the below in the CSS
.qcode_bar_but {font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px ; height: 25px; width: 35px; margin-top: 10px;}
As you said below
change the current width statement to something like width: 90px;.
I changed it from 35 to 90, But nothing changed at all. It stay the same as the photo that I put above.
Any other ideas Pastor Rick. Thankyou for your time.

Re: The posting icons
I don't know which browser you are using but you might try reloading the page after clearing the cache. The code looks fine from here so that isn't the problem. One way to make sure that what you are seeing is the current code is to take out the width statement and let the RunBoard default CSS handle the width. If that doesn't work could you give me the link to your test board so I can see what is happening?

Re: The posting icons
I seem to pick time intensive projects *lol* I have started a project to give more smiley options to RB users (I have been working on them for awhile now)... I'll post the results here when I finish and I have at least a moderate hope that Thor will adopt the smilies as a select-able "smiley/post" default for all Runboards...
